We got off to a late start this year, but we are looking forward to seeing you, our Merritone Family. More than ever, we are grateful for another opportunity to celebrate life, love, and music. Join Monte-he has been practicing his dance moves- and the Merritone selectors for lots dancing and good times.
Merritone turns 73 this year which makes us the Last Sound Standing. We are only sound system from the original post World War II era that still plays. And it is you, our faithful Merritone Family that is a pivotal part of our longevity.
Last year, we had families that brought three generations. We had guests from South Florida, Georgia, Canada, UK, Trinidad, Japan and Jamaica. Our goal is to share this sound with all generations from around the world.
Every reunion is special. This one is no different. We have lost some many Merritone family members and I am still recovering. My rehab goal is to dance with you at this year’s reunion and to make new memories that last forever!
Our goal is to grow the Family Reunion. This year we are expanding it to the Family Reunion & Homecoming Festival Week with a focus on the beauty of brand Jamaica. We are promoting Jamaican art, food, architecture and of course music.

We no longer use travel agents. We will have a dedicated Hyatt reservations specialist to book your hotel stay.
The Booking Process
This year the booking process is simplified in two steps.
Step 1:
Book your hotel stay. Complete the online form below: select your room type, number of guests to a room, T-shirt, etc. We will direct you to a Hyatt dedicated reservations specialist to lock in Merritone discounted group rate.
THERE WILL BE NO TRAVEL AGENTS. If you are booking your accommodations outside of The Merritone website, you are not booking with us.
Once you have completed the online form, you will automatically be redirected to the shopping cart.

- Personal, medical or trip cancellation (We highly recommend that you consider the purchase of trip insurance)

Security Deposit – Please note that to cover incidentals a security deposit of USD$200.00 Is required upon check-in.
Payment can be made using cash or card credit. (Debit cards are not accepted). Deposit to be refunded after check-out.
Cancellation policies: 1) A non-refundable deposit must be received at the time of booking.
Note:
1) Full payment of any reservation is required no later than 30 days prior to arrival.
2) Final payment must be made 30 days prior to arrival.
3) Reservations without full payment before 30 days prior to arrival are subject to immediate cancellation. Automatic cancellations applied to all reservations not paid in full.
4) For cancellations made between 30 and 8 days before arrival, a penalty of 1 night per room will be applied. Resigned with the purchase of Flex Pass.
5) For cancellations made less than 8 days before the arrival date, a 100% penalty will be applied. The entire stay will not be refundable.
6) When canceling any stay that includes the dates from December 21 to January 4 (inclusive), less than 30 days before arrival, a 100% penalty will be applied.
7) The no-show, late check-in, or late arrival, as well as early check-out or early departure, will not have a refund, compensation, or provider’s responsibility.
8) Deposits and any amounts paid, less fines imposed, will only be available as credit for a future reservation made within 6 months of cancellation.
